Northwest United FC Chooses Trace to Provide Video Analysis Platform Within Club
MOUNT VERNON, WA + AUSTIN, TX (July 30, 2021) – Northwest United FC and Trace Soccer are eager to announce their partnership for the 2021-22 season. The club will be outfitting seven competitive teams with the Trace game film system. These teams will utilize the Trace platform to automatically film and edit games, create shareable recruiting profiles with Trace iD, and receive custom Trace Workshops for both players and coaches.
“Trace will help our coaches analyze game footage without the hassle of going through hours of film. With a more efficient system in place, coaches can be more productive with game analysis, player evaluations, and session planning.”
– Joana Michaelson, Girls Director of Coaching
Northwest United FC is located in the Pacific Northwest and serves Skagit County. The club’s mission is to develop quality individuals of high character through athletic achievement, personal growth, sportsmanship, and community outreach. We strive to create pathways and opportunities that will allow every player and coach to achieve their full potential.
“Finally a system that does it all! Trace will save our coaches time and provide our players and families an easy access platform to review and showcase all their soccer moments,” says Joana Michaelson, Girls Director of Coaching at NWU. “Trace will help our coaches analyze game footage without the hassle of going through hours of film. With a more efficient system in place, coaches can be more productive with game analysis, player evaluations, and session planning.”
As we saw last year, video analysis is critical to player development. But traditionally, even with the best cameras and editing equipment, it’s still time-consuming for coaches to put together personalized playlists for each player. That’s why Trace is on a mission to empower coaches with a valuable tool without increasing the work on their end.
With Trace, a smart camera automatically edits and delivers personalized moment playlists to each player’s inbox after every game, requiring no extra editing time by coaches, parents or club staff.
For Northwest United players who are serious about playing at the college level, Trace iD, Trace’s own recruiting platform, gives players the power to save, share, and spotlight their best moments. Simply select your best match moments, add them to your Trace iD, and seamlessly share the playlist link with college coaches across the country. It’s how one ECNL player managed to secure a spot on a D1 College Soccer team amidst the pandemic.
Northwest United joins over 200 other clubs and organizations that have partnered with Trace for adoption within their organization.
