Technical Soccer Club Chooses Trace to Strengthen Club Resources

ELGIN, SC + AUSTIN, TX (April 20, 2021) – Technical Soccer Club (TSC) and Trace Soccer are thrilled to announce a club-wide partnership for the 2021-22 season. Technical Soccer will be outfitting every U9-U20 team in the club with the Trace game film system. The club will have access to all of Trace’s features, including automatic match filming and editing, personalized moments for each player, Trace iD profiles, and educational content for both players and coaches from Trace’s on-staff experts.

“Your child’s goals and performances can now be captured and used as a tool to learn from and also as an heirloom forever. We researched the market for the best technology and Trace came out on top in all categories.”

Alan Riches, Club & Coaching Director, Technical Soccer Club

Technical Soccer Club’s mission is to “Develop Tomorrow’s Players Today.” By partnering with Trace, the club has doubled-down on this commitment. TSC is the first club in the Midlands to implement Trace across its entire organization.

“We are excited to partner with Trace to help continue strengthening our position in achieving our goals,” says Alan Riches, Club Director. “TSC see’s the power of Trace’s technology for both players and coaches, so we are implementing it across our entire club from U9-20.

This technology will help us teach and develop our players. Each player will be GPS tracked and their game footage emailed directly to them. This tool will provide players and parents concrete evidence of what we see as coaching staff and areas of their game they are being successful in.

Our older players will have the benefit of using Trace iD as a recruiting tool since their individual footage can be sent directly to college coaches.

Your child’s goals and performances can now be captured and used as a tool to learn from and also as an heirloom forever. We researched the market for the best technology and Trace came out on top in all categories. We feel fortunate to have Trace as our partners as we continue to Develop Tomorrow’s Players Today, and now get to video the process at every level.”

As this last year has shown, video analysis plays a critical aspect of player development. Trace is on a mission to empower coaches with a valuable tool without increasing the work on their end. Trace’s AI camera automatically edits and delivers personalized moment playlists to each player’s inbox after every game, requiring no extra editing time by coaches, parents, or club staff.

For TSC players who are serious about playing at the college level, Trace iD, Trace’s own recruiting platform, gives players the power to save, share, and spotlight their best moments. Simply select your best match moments, add them to your Trace iD, and seamlessly share the playlist link with college coaches across the country. It’s how one player managed to secure a spot on a D1 College Soccer team amidst the pandemic.

Technical Soccer Club understands that in order to be successful, video analysis has to be apart of the curriculum at every stage of the player’s soccer career.

David Lokshin, Founder of Trace Soccer

“Many clubs and coaches say that they are dedicated to player development,” says David Lokshin, Founder of Trace Soccer. “but Technical Soccer Club understands that in order to be successful, video analysis has to be a part of the curriculum at every stage of the player’s soccer career. Trace is hopeful that this partnership with TSC will show other clubs the full possibilities of what Trace’s platform can do for an organization.”

By collaborating with Trace, TSC now has the tools to foster development for both players and coaches, increases player retention within the club and provides additional exposure to recruiting-age players, all under one platform.

Technical Soccer Club joins over 70 other clubs and organizations that have partnered with Trace for large scale adoption within their organization.
